Worry-Free Return Policy
Not thrilled with your new Stateside Office Furniture purchase? We’ve got you covered! First, reach out to us at info@statesideofficefurniture.com for a free ergonomic consultation. Adjusting to a new work setup can take up to three weeks, and we’re happy to help tweak your furniture for a better fit. If you’d still like to return, like-new products in their original packaging can be returned for a refund within 30 days of delivery. You’ll simply cover the return shipping costs and cover a 35% restocking fee. Once we have received back your product and inspected it your original payment method will be refunded less the 35% restocking fee. Stateside selects quality products that are built to last, please contact us if you have any questions regarding our return policy.
Flat Rate Returns
For clarity and simplicity, we offer flat-rate return shipping fees for chairs and accessories. A $40 (per unit) fee will be deducted from refunds for office chair purchases, and a $15 (per unit) fee applies to accessory returns, as well as a 35% restocking fee. Desks, filing cabinets, and large orders over $2000 and/or 10 units or more are excluded from flat rates and subject to a 35% restocking fee.
Initiate a Return
Contact us at info@statesideofficefurniture.com to begin your return process for chairs, desks, or accessories or visit our contact page here. Once approved, you’ll receive a pre-paid shipping label. After we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method within 5-10 business days, minus return shipping costs and our 35% restocking fee. These fees will be outlined during the return process based on your item and location. If you receive damaged products, notify Stateside Office Furniture within one business day of delivery and inspection and we’ll cover return shipping for damaged items only, offering a full refund or replacement. Products failing during their usable life, per our Warranty Policy, qualify for free repair or replacement - shipping is usually included but exclusions may apply for larger items.
Conditions and Exclusions to Our Return Policy
All returns require validation and approval at Stateside Office Furniture’s discretion. If a return isn’t approved, the item may not be returned to you. Misuse or mislabeling of return shipping labels may incur extra fees. Products must be returned undamaged in their original packaging. Returns beyond the 15-day window cannot be accepted. To ensure fast order processing, we don’t offer exchanges. Workplace furniture and large corporate orders delivered via white glove delivery service or less-than-truckload freight incur a 35% restocking fee upon return. Custom products, shipping fees, and installation costs are non-refundable.
Stateside Trade Program
For enterprise customers furnishing corporate spaces, many Stateside Office Furniture items qualify for our unique Trade Program. We understand relocating is tough, and furniture is often left behind—disposal can be costly and harmful to the environment. With the Stateside Trade Program, we’ll retrieve used furniture when you’re done, refurbishing it for reuse. If it’s in good condition, we’ll provide credit toward future purchases. Even without credit, we’ll pick it up free of charge, saving you thousands in disposal costs. This applies only to furniture bought new from Stateside Office Furniture and is available to qualified enterprise customers in our service areas. Benching products like Quad Desks, Six Person Desks, and Double Standing Desks are excluded, though retrieval may be possible for a fee. Warranty
Stateside Office Furniture stands by offering durable office products built to last. Our warranty for the product is an honoring of that manufacturer's warranty. You can view the manufacturer's warranty usually on the product page in the item description. Coverage begins on the delivery date. You are all set, once a customer with Stateside Office Furniture we will complete your warranty information. For items from authorized third parties like Amazon, Walmart, West Elm, or Office Depot, warranty registration or proof of purchase is needed. To file a claim, contact info@statesideofficefurniture.com with details and photos of the issue—we’ll respond with a solution.
The Warranty
Our manufacturers offer office furniture built to the top standards built to last decades, but if issues arise, we’ll replace malfunctioning items under the manufacturer's warranty. Some pieces are covered for ten years, others lifetime, much longer than a typical office lease term. Coverage applies only stateside and use outside these areas voids the warranty. Shipping items beyond these regions via third parties or buying from unauthorized sellers (e.g., eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Etsy) also voids coverage. Our warranty applies to original purchases from Stateside Office Furniture or authorized resellers with proof of purchase and is non-transferable. Contact the seller you purchased the product from otherwise. The warranty is void if original parts are replaced or third-party products are used with the item.
What’s Not Covered by the Warranty
Variations in finish or color from light exposure, temperature changes, or aging; discoloration from stains, soiling, inks, or dyes; damage from non-standard office use; damage from writing tools or sharp objects; damage from misuse; normal wear and tear; textile pilling; natural wood grain differences; damage from overloading; damage from improper installation (unless by Stateside Office Furniture or an authorized partner); exposure to non-office settings like warehouses or outdoors; damage from cleaning chemicals (alcohol, detergent, etc.) affecting the finish. We can provide a complete list of the products warranty upon request.
